My main Photography is Wildlife & Night Skies. I am Nikon !! Owner of The Nikon D5, D500 & D850 along with various Lenses. Most of my photography is based in Suffolk, Norfolk & Essex & when I have time I venture further a field.
Scotland is a favorite place of mine especially Galloway Forest Park for Milkyway Captures. & visiting the Diving Kingfishers, Can never get enough.
January 2018 I spent a week on a Winter Wildlife Tour with Craig Jones capturing Ptarmagin, Mountain Hare & Crested Tits.
Beachy Head & Birling Gap in East Sussex is another destination I like for Milkyway shots.
I Spent a week on the Isle of Mull in May 2018 for my 50th based at Dervaig with Pam & Arthur. I took a tour on the Sunday with Arthur who showed us the best places for wildlife, which we revisited during the week. These included Dippers, Hooded Crows & Pipits. Mull Charters for White Tailed Eagles. Isle of Iona for Corncrake and Isle of Lunga for the many seabirds.
Favorite subjects include Barn Owls, Kingfishers, Ringed Plovers & Felixstowe's Resident Peregrines & Kestrels.
I am also a member of IDPS (Ipswich & District Photographic Society) they are a great group with plenty of very helpful members. They have plenty going on & each March hold there Annual Exhibition at the Corn Exchange, Ipswich. At the moment I am working towards my BPE Award with the British Photography Exhibitions.
